No 'convert to' right click context menu on fresh install of Vista 64bit? Help?

So I just did a fresh reinstall of vista 64bit, one of the first things I installed (after updating to sp1) was dbpoweramp r13.1, but after the install, the right click context menus won't show up for any file. I have tried everything, reinstalls, deletes from the registry, running the install as administrator, running the dmc config as administrator, running shellexview (even tho there shouldn't be any conflicts because its a fresh install of windows), more reinstalls, more reboots, changing default programs of source files, etc etc etc, and nothing will work. The context menus will just not show up.

    Please help!!!111

    Thanks

Ok, I just did another reinstall and reboot. For mp3 files that I have in the root of the C:\ directory, the context menus will show up and what not, but when I go to a folder with lots of mp3's in it, where vista has deemed it a music directory and shows the music tabs and what not at the top, the context menus will not show up. What the hell? How do I fix this?

Edit: So I have a folder full of mp3s that is stored in D:\Music\ if I move it to C:\ then the context menus will show up.... but if I have a mp3 file in the D:\ directory, the context menus will not show up.... ARGH!!!!

Ok, so I have copied some folders around onto various drives, and the context menus will show up on drives C:\ and F:\, but not drives D:\ and E:\

What could be causing this? o.O

Edit: Oh what the hell, now the context menus ARE showing up on all drives and all folders... why is it being so strange?

Edit2: It seems if I browse the folder via my computer, the context menus will show up, but if I launch the folder from utorrents open folder option, it will not.... how can this be fixed?

Your computer has too many context menus (all the items shown on right click), and Windows will hide certain menus, there is no order in what is hidden, there is a program (forget the name) which allows certain context menus disabled.

That's the program, and I can verify it works on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded ShellMenuView, but I can't see where in the program I would enable the "convert to" or the "edit ID tag". There are two references to dBpoweramp: "Rip with dBpoweramp/AudioCD/Rip with dBpoweramp/AudioCD" and "dBpoweramp Batch Converter/Folder/dBpoweramp Batch Convert/Folder". Both of these work when I right click.

I used to have the Convert To and Edit ID Tag functions, but my computer got reimaged and they have been gone ever since.

Any ideas? I'm definitely a newbie, so talk dumb to me.

              Thanks!

For which type of files? .cda?
