Aux Input Problem

When recording stereo L P,s with db Aux Input no matter what I select or do the selection is converted to mono I know good stereo is getting to the sound card I've tried every thing I can think but I mus have over looked something

You might be using the Microphone input which is mono only. Or the compression format used is mono, check this by Record Menu >> Record with options.
