FLAC to mp3 - Album Artist lost

    Just downloaded dbpoweramp, looking good.

I don't want to lose any tag information going from FLAC to mp3 and everything is OK except it is losing album artist. It's definitely showing in Tag & Rename.

I've mapped Album Artist to Album Artist but no joy.

    Thanks in advance

Is the Album Artist showing up on the dMC "Audio Properties" tab?

No, it isn't one of the fields on the tab.

Right click on flac file >> edit tag and see what name is given to album artist (there is no set standard in flac).

Album Artist has the correct artist name in Edit ID-Tag.

I now have an additional problem, with a few hundred tracks of a particular artist, when converting from FLAC to MP3. The files appear to convert OK, in that it plays from beginning to end - but all the tag information is deleted.

Having tried to convert one file I see this error -

Error converting to mp3 (Lame), '[filepath]' to '[filepath]'
md5 did not match decoded data, file is corrupt.

I've successfully converted lots of other tracks, but this set from one particular artist all have the same problem. Maybe I have an overriding problem of some sort...

If the files play fine, you can change the setting in "dBpoweramp Configuration" (see "Need to find your Version?" to find it) on the Codecs tab under Advanced.

That one flac file is corrupted, if you install R13.1 it should write the ID tags.
