AAC Encoder

What AAC encoder does dBPoweramp use? Is it Nero, QT, another? Which version number?

If Nero, are the files playing seamlessly in iTunes and on iPods or are there still challenges as I have read in the past?

dMC uses the Nero m4a encoder and then changes it to AAC. You should be able to go straight from dMC to the iTunes/iPod.

As for the version of Nero, it is whichever version you download, as it is not bundled with the encoder.
