floating point values in LAME 3.98

Is it possible to use floating point values for LAME 3.98 VBR in dMC? e.g., V5.678

If not, maybe it could go on the wishlist....

      As in

"After 2 years of development and 8 beta versions LAME 3.98 has been released. Highlights from changelog:

      * LAME now has its own psy model, a derivation from NSPSY
      * LAME now accepts a floating point value in the range [0,...,10[ as VBR quality setting, like -V5.678
      * Ability to set user-defined ID3v2.3 frame and include albumArt in ID3v2.3 tag
      * The newer VBR code is now LAME's default VBR routine"

The .5s in between would do for me!

e.g. I can ABX harpsichord at V2, but not at V1. Would be nice to see if V1.5 is transparent and shave a bit off the file size.
