PerfectMeta in dMC?

Hi, I have a registration for r12, and am trying to decide if I need/want to upgrade to r13 registration. The one thing that would make me do it ASAP is if dMC uses PerfectMeta and has the ability to tag already encoded files?
ie I have all my CD's ripped already, I don't really want to re-rip and re-encode them all, but I'd love to be able to use PerfectMeta to make sure the tags are "Perfect". Would I be able to use PerfectMeta to tag my existing encoded albums?
