Batch converter causes computer to hang

Using the music converter I have never had a problem with the batch converter.

However, for the last day I have had a problem each time I try to convert a batch of files. When I try to convert, my computer hangs (program not responding) and I have to close the program. I just installed the latest update and am still having the same problem.

I use Windows Vista and this happens with every file I try to batch convert.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Which program says it is not responding? coreconverter or music converter? which audio files are you converting from and to?

Also, are you converting to/from only internal drives, or is an external drive the source/destination?
