So you have given up on MP3 pro??????

I happen to like mp3 Pro because you get smaller size files and the sound is not bad also, as of late i have stopped using dBpoweramp Music Converter anymore because of mp3 Pro not being incorporated into it anymore, and i am not talking about having to go back to a earlier version to use mp3 Pro, it would be nice to be able to see the latest version with mp3 Pro.

I used to use db exclusively for all my music needs, because in it i did not have to do as i used to, and that was use different music applications for this and another to do that, but with db i could use just one product for all, but now i find that i now have to use my Adobe audition to batch converter because it supports mp3 pro, or i will use JetAudio for mp 3 Pro support and mainly i am now using Jet Audio for all. they can incorprate mp3 Pro into their products (JetAudio & Adobe Audition) so whats the deal with db, i see us as humans being capable to accomplish ANYTHING WE SET OUR MINDS TO, so whats wrong with db's situation???? i still say it is a fine product.

And if i have to go back to an ealier version of db just to use mp3 Pro i feel as though i am missing out on the latest updates in the newer versions in the fixes. and this makes not sense to me.

you should do blind ABX testing if you want to really know if mp3pro is better than the current lame version at similar/equivilent bitrate/filesizes.

If your mp3 files have a bitrate more than 100 kbps then mp3 pro would be helping none to sound quality.

Also, mp3PRO never really garnered widespread support, in both software players and hardware portable players.
