Sorry if this is covered here elsewhere, but I did a search and read several threads without figuring this out.
I have about 400 or so discs ripped to FLAC without the use of Replaygain. I am fine with minor fluctiations in volume as I don't do a lot of shuffle playback or playlists. However, occasionally I have discs that are just too quiet and I would like to use replaygain to boost volume on these.
It appears I have to select replaygain under DSP and reconvert (FLAC-FLAC) the files with replaygain, is that correct? Is there any other way to add these tags? Is there anyway to ensure I get the volume boost I want on these files?
Thanks
