Not sure if I need to upgrade or download a new CODEC but I want to convert my already ripped .WMA files to .MP3 so I can listen to them on a different device I own (Sony Reader). Please advise. Thanks.

As long as you have installed dMC and the WMA codec from codec central and have either a registered version or a valid trial of the PowerPack or Reference versions, you should be able to convert to mp3, yes.Lt. Data

You should be able to right-click on the WMA files, go to Properties, then to the Summary Tab, click "Advanced" and there is a section with the label "Protection", just make sure it says no.Lt. Data
