Hi!
This subject has probably been discussed before, but I have not been able to find the answers by searching - so here I go...
I have a problem: My entire music collection is ripped (and tagged) in Ogg format - and my iPod doesn't play Ogg.
Solution: Convert all files to AAC using dBpoweramp/dMC.
So far so good...
When I ripped the music and tagged it, I used Winamp where I manually entered information like artist, title, track number, album, year (actually Winamp uses the Oggtag "DATE" for this) and genre. These all seems to be converted to sensible tags when i view the AAC file in iTunes afterwards, but...
Problem: In iTunes I can provide further information about my tracks like "total number of tracks", "total number of discs", "sort name", "sort artist" etc. which are not supported by Winamp (out-of-the-box)...
Question: What Oggtag names should I use for these fields to make them appear correctly in iTunes (when the tracks have been converted to AAC)?
