Combining multiple tracks into single track when converting?

Hi, I listen to a lot of audiobooks. When I rip them from CD, there's at least one file per disc (if I use rip as one) or many files. I would like to be able to convert these files to one large file (preferably m4b for my iPod). Is this possible? There is a program that will do this (it's free and found here: http://www.freeipodsoftware.com) but I would prefer to use dbpoweramp if possible.

    Thanks!!

Use the "Rip as one" option in the CD ripper. Click the "1" below the red "?" help button to do this. Note that you probably need to turn off secure ripping when doing this unless you have 4GB of RAM.

Thanks, but what I want to do is combine the files after ripping. For example, if I rip a ten CD audiobook so that I have ten files (one for each disc), I want to be able to take those ten files and combine them into one large file (so that the whole book is one file) while at the same time converting them to m4b. Is that possible? Like I said, the program I cited in my first post will do that, but I would prefer to use dbpoweramp. Thanks again!!

I have the same question. How do I combine multiple CD files into one, large (8 hour) m4b file?

There is plenty of audio editing software which can do this easily. I suspect Audacity, which is free, can do it (I don't happen to use Audacity, but it is very capable). With the editors I use, it is really simple and fast.
