    Where is lame_enc.dll?

I have a paid-for registered version of dMC that I just installed. How do I make sure the status is correct, that is, the encoder and so forth are NOT going to expire?

I don't see a lame_enc.dll file anywhere. My understanding is that a licensed version of lame came with dMC.

The dMC program seems to work but I want to make sure I got what I paid for. Where is the lame_enc.dll file?

I forgot to mention that dMC configuration says REGISTERED

Note that dMC r13 doesn't use the lame .dll file, it uses the lame.exe, which is in the dBpoweramp install folder in encoder\mp3 (Lame).

Also, dMC Configuration saying "Registered" means the encoder isn't going to expire.

ok, thanks but does that mean I have no lame encoder that I can use with other programs, like audacity? I tried using lame.exe but audacity didn't like it

Spoon is just using an un-modified official LAME .exe build, it should work fine in most programs. Do note, though, that there were some changes made to LAME between 3.97 and 3.98 that affect how other programs use it, so if it doesn't like the 3.98 exe, you may need to find and use a 3.97 exe.
