    aacplus v2

    so when will we see a simple aacplus V2 encoder/decoder like mp3 lame
    i get 2 version of aacplus v2 in here:

    one compatible only with dmc r11.5 or older (uses winamp plugin i guess)
    Well, I've developed a CLI codec for Enhanced AACPlus, aka AACPlus v2, aka AAC+SBR+PS using the reference encoder sourcecode provided by Coding Technologies. I had to modify the source a little bit because the encoder wants only 48kHz or 32kHz audio, but the only forceable sample rate dbPowerAmp provides is 44.1kHz. Audio

    one compatible with r12 and higher (uses neroaacenc.exe)

    so tell me when the simple converter will be added to dmc
    & until then tell me which one of these two you think is THE best

    & one last question;
    i have all my music in mp3pro so how the hell would i change it to aacplus v2 without loosing quality because for the dmc 11.5 or older there is a trick with the "in_mp3pro.dll" of winamp
    but with the new dmc 12 or newer it dont work so please help me out !!!

    Re: aacplus v2

    You would have to use dMC r11.5 with the mp3PRO decoder installed and install the older codec you mentioned. Then once you get AAC+ v2, you can use dMC r12 to decode them.

      So You Think That The Old (non Official) Encoder Is Better Than The Dmc Official Mp4 Encoder???

      Other Question Now Which Is The Best In Quality?

      The Dmc Mp4 Encoder Or The Non Official One
      And What Is The Best Bitrate To Get Cool Quality Sound Like 128kbs With Mp3 Lame Or 64 Kbs With Mp3pro

        Re: aacplus v2

        You asked about the official dMC r12+ encoder and the older dMC r11.5 encoder, and since you need to use dMC r11.5 due to mp3PRO, I chose that one. As for which is better, the legacy m4a/mp4 official codec or the one you linked to, I don't know as I have never dealt with aacplus v2 files. Therefore, I also don't know which bitrate would be best.
