Converting Lossless m4a to flac with tags

Using dMC Batch Converter, I can convert Apple lossless m4a files to flac, but no tag info gets copied.
Should the tags be copied or have I missed some basic setup option ?

Right clicking on one of the source files shows the ID-Tag details (which include analysis and fingerprint tags from MusicIp), while the equivalent converted file shows <Contains no ID-Tags> .

Where did the ALAC files come from? What version of dMC and the m4a/ALAC codec are you using?

Yes, tags present are : Artist, Title, Album, Track, Year, Genre, Comment, analysis, Composer, Encoded by, fingerprint, Itunes_CDDB_IDs, iTunNORM

        No, only <Contains no ID-Tags>

I have tried both dMC 13 and 13.1
The ALAC files were ripped with various versions of iTunes in my unenlightened ripping days before I purchased dBpoweramp.
When I right click on a m4a file >> Edit Tag, dBpoweramp displays a box of information including all the tags, but will not let me select the text and copy, is alt+Prnt Scrn the only way to capture this info?

Edit: In dBpoweramp Configuration, Codecs Tab, the m4a/mp4 Decoder does not have a release date against it, those decoders that do show release dates show Release 13.

The version number for the m4a codec is by the m4a encoder.

Install the [audio info] codec (codec central) and convert the m4a file to audio info, post the results, and the same for flac.

One last check, that now DSP effects are running, such as ID Tag Processing. If not then please email the m4a file:

The file was corrupted, there are 8 samples missing from the end. There will be a beta of a new m4a codec which has the option to ignore errors.

Spoon, thank you for investigating this problem. I look forward to the new codec.
I am also interested in how you determined that there were 8 samples missing from the end of the track. Is the analysis software available to mere mortals that can flag these errors? These missing samples may explain static noise heard at the end of some m4a tracks played through a Slimserver.

Which program put those analysis tags onto the file? I have a feeling it was that program which write the wrong sizes.

dBpoweramp will inform of the issue in its current form, when converting, pause it and select the option \/ and choosed after conversion show the information log.

MusicIP put the analysis tags onto the file.

The information log does show the message "Error Chunk is out of file."
I should have looked at that before I posted (but I had not discovered it!)
