    Not a full uninstall

    I just uninstalled dbpowerAMp from my system, but whenever I insert a music cd into my drive, it asks me if I want to convert it using dbPowerAmp, through the menu where I select the autoplay program for the CD. How do I remove this ghost from my system. I am running XP pro

    I am facing the same problem and nothing i do seems to get rid of it. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. Does this have anyting to do with that?

      Open the Registry (start >> run >> regedit.exe) and browse to :

      SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer \AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlers\PlayCDAudioOnArriv al

      Remove the dMCAudioCDInput value.
