I can install the music converter and use the native codecs. When I try to install any other codec it installs the files and I get an "unable to open configuration" error. I am running xp pro 64 on a single core 64 bit cpu. DMC ran fine on 32 bit winxp pro on my 64 bit system.

What version of dMC are you working in? It sounds like you are using dMC r11.5 or older with the new codecs. Use the codecs from Legacy Codec Central if you do.Lt. Data
