    Auxiliary input recording

Q? When I Identify an album as having a number of tracks,
take the time to name each track,
put a tick in each box,
    I.D. the artist and album.
    Then press record.
DMC identifies each track and progresses through the track list as it records
However when I go to the MP3(lame) file to play back I find only the last track exists as a recording..........Why? What can I do to record and retain the whole album?

Make sure you have not set Options >> Arrangement

to a fixed path, it should be some thing like -

    [artist] - [track]

I haven't seen my question before which is closely related to this thread -

Can I record a vinyl album (you know, those old Frisbee things) as a single track, then use dBpoweramp to split the tracks and label them from the freedb site? I just started using dBpoweramp and did a bunch of CDs. Now I have a few hundred vinyl albums to do.

If not currently available, could it be changed to allow the user to enter the artist then select from a list??

You cannot use freedb at all (only CDs on freedb), you can use Aux Input to record and auto split the files.
