Using 13.1 my FLAC files now have totaltracks as a field that other apps recognize (e.g., foobar). I can convert old FLAC files (under 12.4, flac 1.2) to newer FLAC files and this creates the total tracks, but is there anything I can do with a DSP to create this new field for my old FLAC files without actually converting the files again from FLAC > FLAC?

Re: Adding total tracks in FLAC from old FLAC files
I was going to try this before any posting, but I'm drawing a blank on what to map to what. The track number field has track and total (i.e., 1/14). But I can't figure out how to map that total to the "totaltracks" field. I'm sure I'm missing something quite simple here....Comment

Re: Adding total tracks in FLAC from old FLAC files
Aha! I see that if I just convert with codec ID TAG UPDATE and don't set any mapping, removal, additions, etc. it must rewrite that tags automatically to the new format (as now I see the total tracks field in foobar). Easy enough!Comment
