R13 registered exe not working

Hi

I registered my R13 reference exe and when I run it it says "
R13-Ref-Registered.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

It just doesn't run. I got the trial version earlier and it ran fine for the trail period. The problem has arisen after I downloaded the registered version. NOthing seems to be working now.

I have a windows XP OS.

Appreciate if anyone can shed some light on it and provide me the fix.

I just downloaded and installed both dMC r13 reference and the CD Writer. Clear your browser cache and try again.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Unfortunately, the problem is still there. I cleared the cache, the history, deleted cookies and temp files from by browser and downloaded the registered version again and I still get the same error

"dmC-R13-Registered.exe is not a valid Win32 application".


what is baffling is that the trial version worked fine on the same machine and nothing has changed since then.

any help would be much appreciated.

If you right click on the file and select properties the file size should be:

4.84 MB (5,082,488 bytes)

If it is less than that you do not have the full install file, clear the internet cache and try again.

Thanks for the suggestion on checking the file size and it does say 0 bytes.

I have tried clearing browser cache, rebooting and downloading the R13exe several times now and every time I download, I get 0 bytes exe file.

I am downloading it from the dbpoweramp registration retrieval.

I would think your security software is doing something it should not, after all it is just a file on the internet which is downloading.

What security software and/or antivirus software are you using?

Firewall: Nortern personal firewall V 6.0.2.23
McAfee Anti virus: 8.0.0

I have downloaded other files from internet before without any problems and also I downloaded the trial version without any problems and can still do so

Try disabling the Norton firewall and McAfee and redownloading the software.
