    conversion quality loss

    Hi all.

I'm working on a radio that use "mp2 - 256kb - 48khz" format and we use DB music converter 12.1.
And since we have this new version we have a problem of conversion (can't remember the older version but it worked good)
Each time I convert a 44.1 sound to 48khz (wathever is the conversion: mp3 to wav, mp3 to mp2, wav to mp2...), the sound is altered, the sound is more "metalic", I know you see what I mean by that. A bit like a bad encoded mp3...

I've tried all the codecs (mp2, bwf mp2, wav, snd) that my software (Dalet) can read and it's always the same problem.
44.1 to 44.1 or 48 to 48 work fine. The problem only appears when I want to change the frequency.

    If somebody could help me...

    Cheers

dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter and enable the Professional Frequency Conversion option.
