Error Message - dBpoweramp CoreConvertor has stopped working

Hello - I get the message "dBpoweramp CoreConvertor has stopped working" in a ton of pop up windows when I use batch convert to convert more than about 200 files. I'm using Vista on r13. The error log shows "Error: Watchdog timeout, possible CoreConverter crash". Any suggestions on how to correct?

What are you converting to and from? (do the source files play in another program)?

They're MP3 files that I'm using the tag convertor to embed album art.

The source files files play find in iTunes. The weird thing is when I click through the error messages it appears that Music Convertor moves to the next file and keeps going.

If they have an id3v2.4 tag, we do not handle those.

Thanks for your reply. I dont' think that's the problem but I'll keep digging. Do you know of a way to convert the tag to the format your program requires?

Our program should be ok with anything that is not v2.4

Re: Error Message - dBpoweramp CoreConvertor has stopped working

I've experimented a little and wonder if the issue is related to when I try to update tags on a file that does not have a folder.jpg in it's folder. For example let's say the John Doe artist has 4 albums one of which does not have album art. If I select the parent folder will I get errors when it hits the folder without art? Is there a way to overcome this?
                Thanks.
