Bring up task manager, does that show 2 cpu usage graphs?

erm, spoon, trust me, I have one cpu and it's a single core non HT one, the taskmanager shows one graph for cpu usage history, and there is no submenu to set affinity or any mention of multiple cores, since there are none.

You have no dsp effects running, such as force cpu?

nope. nothing at all in cdgrab. just rip straight to flac

You could try the DSP effect force CPU to force a single cpu, I will mark it down to look at.

I saw this as well when I switched from the Wav encoder to the Flac encoder. With the wav encoder it was serialized from ripping to encoding on each track. I see no ill affects though. My task manager only shows one CPU graph.

Again, it does appear to present a problem. Flac encoder is much faster than the wav one.
