Please help me mp3 tag problem!!

I just discovered something regarding v12
I converted some FLACs to MP3 a while ago
Only now I discovered that the tag is in ID3 v2.3 only
I NEED them to be in ID3 v2.3 AND ID3 v1.1
since 2 of my players only see v1.1 properly (thus how I discovered this)
in ver 11 it was an easy option to change I cannot find it here...

If this is no longer supported I need a program that will do it or i have to uninstall WAYYYY back to v11 :cry:


ADDED: I see that v13 is out. Do install on top of v12 without uninstalling and my license remaining time stays the same? plus my mp3 license?

If you have the PowerPack, download a new registered version from here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/
Then install it, and let it uninstall your existing versions.
If you have Reference, you will need to purchase the upgrade to go from r12 to r13.

Either way, the option is in r12. Go to dBpoweramp Configuration (See "Need to find your version?" below) to the Codecs tab, click "Advanced Options", scroll down to the mp3 section, in the Tag Creation field, chang it to ID3v1 & ID3v2.

What do u mean by reference?
I purchased 11.5 (for the mp3) i then uninstalled all codecs > installed R12 on top of 11.5 (which kept the mp3 conversions) I purchased a AMG license > installed all 12 codecs.

Does this mean i have to purchase AGAIN for 13?

No, you purchased the PowerPack at r11.5, so you get free lifetime upgrades. Visit my link and get a registered r13 installer.

Install the [ID Tag Update] utility codec and add a dummy tag, which you will delete later. This will cause dMC to re-write all the tags on the mp3 files. Use Batch Converter to select your files, then pick "[ID Tag update]" from the codec drop-down.

Actually I got it to work without adding a dummy tag, I forgot I set my MP3 folder as READ ONLY. I unchecked that and they are converting now. thanks.

I went to the site and entered my order #, I DL'ed the Registered R13. What is the offer "Upgrade Power Pack to Reference R13" Do i need this? I have power pack now don't I??

Do i have to reinstall AMG license or will the remainder of my subscription still be there?

You may have to reinstall AMG, check dBpoweramp Configuration for the status of your AMG subscription after you upgrade.
