Best cd/dvd ripper with secure c2?

I am about to buy a new cd/dvd burner/ripper (Internal IDE) and would like to get one that will work with dbpoweramp's best features to ensure as best rip as possible for each cd I do.

Could you please provide me with a list of burner brands & models that can use the secure C2 mode and are incredibly reliable because I've tried googling this yet have found nothing.

I'm looking to spend about $40-$60

    Many thanks!

EDIT: Oops sorry I seem to have posted this in the wrong section, please feel free to move it thanks!

Generally speaking buying 2x drives (different, cheap, but both good) is a good idea for secure ripping (as generally some drives are better on certain discs).

Please note that daefeatures.co.uk is a rough guide and is based on user-submitted information. It's not always correct, but it is still a useful guide, especially if you can correlate information in a product line submitted by different people.

Spoon, just to clarify, are you suggesting I purchase two separate drives for use in ripping? I'm not sure I see why I would need two :( lol. I already have two drives in my machine and want to update one of them but if you are suggesting two then it would be interesting to know your reason.

Which brand would you suggest, everyone seems to claim Plextor is excellent but I thought their old drives were the best.

Bhoar, that is a great site and I will use it just as a main guide. That's exactly what I needed.

        Thanks!

Two drives, different brands, to give you two different attempts to securely rip a CD.

... and then what do I do? Do I compare CRC? Or something else?

Hopefully one of them will give you a secure rip. Also, some CD drives are better at ripping CDs than other drives but weak on others, so you try to find two different drives to get different strengths and weaknesses
