I've just recently downloaded the program in order to convert .wavs to MP3 format. When I convert files, it seems "auto-set" at 192 kps and I have found no place to adjust that should I wish to change it to 128. If I change the frequency to something lower and then move it back to 44100 khz, it successfully changes it to 128, but that seems fiddly. Is there something I'm missing?

Set the bit rate by clicking on the green bar.
If dMC is not using that set bitrate, it might be because you have a profile in advanced that overwrites it. -
Bit Rate
I have the same problem, I recently used dBpowerAMP to convert files ripped from my CDs. I have set the bit rate at 128kbs and it automatically set the bit rate at 192kbs. It takes a long time to convert riped files to Mp3s.
How can I fix this problem?Comment
