    Teamspeak problems - help!

Hey, I downloaded dB and used it to convert a song, and then I listened to the song over my headphones using winamp, and it worked fine. However, after I listened to the song, I couldn't use Teamspeak or Ventrilo to talk over my mic...

I originally intended to install dB to play music over games in CS:S, but now I can't use TS as a result. (My mic is part of a headset that comes attached to my headphones.) I tried unplugging my headset, which is USB-based, restarting my computer, and replugging it, but it didn't work. I never actually used dB (with HLSS) to play songs over my mic on CS:S at this time: I had just downloaded the program and simply listened to a converted song before i did anything, but then I realized my mic didn't work. I also tried reinstalling teamspeak and ventrilo, and using System Restore to restore my computer to an earlier date, but neither of them worked. Oddly enough, I can still talk over a game in CS:S; I just can't talk over a voice chatting program anymore, and it doesn't hear me when I try to use the testing functions in those programs. (I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling dB and HLSS; that didn't work either). What should I do? Is this some kind of a driver problem?

If you installed dBpoweramp Music Converter (not dBpoweramp Audio Player), it cannot possibly interfere with your sound playback as it does not have those abilities.
