Mono AAC?

Is there a way in db PowerAmp to get the nero aac encoder to downmix to mono? I know the nero encoder can do it, and I have a bunch of mono .mp3 audiobooks that I would like to make .m4b, but I don't want to have to double their size just to get the same quality...

Use the "Channel Count" DSP effect and set the number of channels to 1.
