Which OGG encoder is better ?

I just wonder whether Ogg Vorbis Release 18 provides a better audio quality than aoTuV Ogg Vorbis Release 2 as the former is newer. I think the Codec Central page is not clear on this point...

The aoTuV encoders are just as good as the Vorbis encoder, but they encode faster due to SSE/SSE2/SSE2-optimized encoders.
