    Converter cannot "see" flac files

Registered PowerPack + MP3 receipt dated June 2007.

Decommissioned old computer, installed on new computer recently. Seemed to install properly.

MP3 shows registered. AMC shows expired (it should not).

Converter shows in Explorer right-click menu, but when I select flac file and try to convert, I receive an error message saying "Unable to load decoder for file type flac"

When I launch dbPoweramp and navigate to folder containing the flac files, it does not show them.

What went wrong and what should I do?

What version of dMC are you running? See my signature to how to find your version.

      Release 12.1

Config says mp3 License & Power Pack: Registered
All Media Guide: Access Expired (although it shouldn't be)

Try this to get your AMG activation back, I am not sure if it will work or not: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=16574

Did you install the FLAC codec into dMC?

          The AMG activation worked.

I think I'll un-install the entire works, then re-install with my virus protection turned off to see if that works.

Thank you for your advice so far.

The re-install seems to have solved the problem with converting flacs, and the link you provided for fixing the AMG registration problem was successful.

So the software seems to be working properly now.

            Thank you for your help!
