how to convert RA to mp3 or wav (or anything!!!)

Hey guys, I really need to convert some .ra audio to mp3 or wav. I've downloaded about every codec and piece of software that i could possibly need, but it keeps converting to a 1kb file (the original is a 30 minute 17mb file)

any help on fixing this? or am i missing a codec or program?

I do have real aternative (which isn't helping my case either, but thats another long story)

ive got 3 hours of audio that i need to convert and don't want to have to re record in real time into adobe audition

Can you play the file in Windows Media Player? (that tests real alternative).
