    new version...no 320 kps?

i've had an old version of db for years at home and at work and love it. i just got a bunch of m4a files that i want to convert to mp3 lame, so i upgraded to the newest version. so why when i click convert and the box comes up, will it only go as high as 240? i suppose if it's already been scrunched down to an m4a it's probably at 192, but for new rips, i want the highest quality mp3. so where's the access to 320?

    any help greatly appreciated.

ps-what happened to the check box that said "delete source file after conversion?"

Select CBR, 320 in Lame has always been CBR.

Delete source is now a DSP effect, install.

ahhh...i see it now. spoon, like it says, you da man.

one more quick question if you please. i'm (new to) running vista. whenever i use db on this machine, as soon as i right click the file and select 'convert to', my monitor 'jumps', that is, quickly goes to black, and then comes back with a totally funky color scheme. desktop and webpages look like i started it in safe mode or something. as soon as the conversion is done and i click 'finished', it jumps back again and everything looks normal. any ideas?

Never heard of that before, try updating video drivers.

Make sure you aren't running dMC in a Compatibility mode.

Go to the directory dMC is installed to, right-click on "MusicConverter.exe" and go to properties. Click the "Compatability" tab and make sure all of the checkboxes are unchecked.
