Codec error converting WMA to MP3

Using dMC 9a, I get this error when I try to convert a WMA file to MP3 format: '.wma' a Codec has to be downloaded from www.dbpoweramp.com >> Downloads >> Codec Central

I tried all the WMA codecs, with no change. I installed Media Player 9.00.00.2926, with no change. I removed and re-installed dMC 9a. I rebooted in between each step. I took all the defaults during installation. I took all defaults during converstion. What am I doing wrong?

I also noticed the Windows shell integration isn't working (however this was checked during install). I had to select the files using the "Simple File Selector" method.

UnInstall dMC and the WMA codec, then install them both to the same location - ie:

    C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP Music Converter
    Spoon
    www.dbpoweramp.com
