How to play converted .mp3 ?

I have just downloaded the trial version, with the Musepack codecs to convert .mpc to .mp3.This all seemed to work out great, till I tried to play the resultant .mp3 files in Media Player. I read in another thread about the need for the license from Thomson.Does this apply to the trial as well and could this be the reason that they will not play ?
I`m over 50 now and these things do my head in !

The license is needed to convert to mp3, so you will be fine until your trial expires, then you will have to either convert to a format besides mp3 or purchase dMC.

Regarding your mp3 files not playing, the license has nothing to do with that, as you would have gotten a message about your trial having expired. Can you play the mpc files? What conversion settings did you use to convert to mp3?

Glad to say that this thread can be closed.My media player had some conflicts, which I have managed to iron out.This is now under control and I may now listen to the mp3`s.
