I'm working my way through my FLAC library, re-encoding with Replaygain now that I have a player that can read the values.
Although the album Replaygain function worked fine on smaller blocks of albums, when I try to do a large swath of files, say about 15,000 tracks, I find out after it's all over that -- apparently -- there's a limit to how many albums the function can keep track of. One gain value is being applied to everything, instead of different gain values based on the album tags.
So, of course, my question is: What is that capacity limit on the slbum gain function. With about 100,000 tracks to process, obviously I want to do as high a number at once as I can.
Thank you.
