OK, i found the origin of the trouble.

<in EAC/compression option/offset, "use correction offset" was enable, very bad idea.:thumbdown

I disable it and now all is OK, no more trouble with poweramp and final wav have correct length.

Don't know really.

I think initialy it was related to "offset drive" and enable it but it wasn't.

That option should not really corrupt an alac file, if you want to send an example file which cannot be decoded to:

Effectively, after verification this option done a larger wav but don't crash dbpoweramp.
Apparently the guilty option seems to be "compression option/External Compression/Add ID3 tag”.
There was two problems, wav size and crash, connected i presume but in fact independant.

For sure that would corrupt the ALAC file, they cannot start with id3v2 tags.

OK, don't crash and decompress the file (like itunes do) will be good but enabling this option with "apple lossless" is stupid so i can't complain.:D

Another question (a little off topic, sorry) about alac, i have wav who compress approximatively x4 with itunes and x2 with dbpoweramp. Is it a know fact ?

It's actually the only problem i have with dbpoweramp (i discovered it recently, like eac) who seems to me very interesting and more convivial than eac especially concerning accuraterip fontion.

I had a quick go with foobar today and its complaining about the same tracks on the same albums. So it is apple that have screwed up their own format.

just registered so I'm re-ripping with flac now
