My music collection consists of a Wavpack lossless library and a m4a lossy library. Today I noticed something strange in regards to the tags:
The Wavpack tags, as expected, as the "Encoder" and "Encoder Settings" tags, as shown in "wavpack tags.jpg". When I re-encoded the files to m4a, those tags stayed and a new "Encoded By" tag was created with the expected "Nero AAC" value. It seems to me these other tags should be erased when the file is re-encoded.
