    Track Numbers

Sorry, Noob question here. When I rip a CD using dbpoweramp 12.3 My track numbers show up 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 etc... in Foobar. When I use Foobar to rewrite the tags using freedb the track numbers come in 01, 02, 03 etc... How can I get my track numbers to rip like this (01, 02, 03)?

    Thanks

    Re: Track Numbers

This is probably because dMC is writing the track numbers as (1/10). You can go into the Options in the CD ripper (click ON the button), then click the "Options" button beside ID tag, scroll to the bottom, and check the top box "Track number without track count) and make sure the "pad track number to 2 digits" box is also checked.

Strange. I tried what you said and it's still happening.

What does dMC show the track numbers in the tags as? Note that changing that option will only affect newly ripped files and will not change existing files.

It's because you have a DISC tag in your files. Foobar is giving you back the tracknumber as DISC.TRACKNUMBER. Remove the DISC tag and Foobar will give you the 01, 02, 03 track numbers again.

That did it. Thanks to both of you.
