Album Gain calculated directly from Track Gain?

Just a quick question this time:

If an album's tracks already have Track Gain tags, can the Album Gain be calculated from those values directly without having to analyze the songs themselves? I assume this would be faster and more efficient. If so, could we get this as an option on the ReplayGain Utility Codec so I can use it with the Batch Converter? If I pick Album Gain only, it would give me an additional option to use existing Track Gain tags to calculate. If a track didn't have Track Gain tags, it would go ahead and analyze that track.

The Track Gain is being calculated when I rip using the Multi Encoder, but since Album Gain doesn't work with the Multi Encoder right now, I'm following up with the Batch Converter to add the Album Gain.

I am sure a program could do that, however ours will not, it will always calcuate from the audio.
