    WMA codec install error

    Hello,
Every time I attempt to install the Windows Media Audio 10 Pro Release 4 (Windows XP) codec I receive the following error alert -
    'Error whilst running 'C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\dBConfig.exe'
Then, it says Windows Media requires a reboot, but the codec doesn't work in the end. If I right click convert a wma file, it says the codec is not installed. When I install the codec it says it's already installed, but then I receive the error.
    I am running XP sp2 - 2600 with Windows Media Player 11.
Is this a problem for WMP 11?
    Thanks in advance!

You need to install Music Converter, or install the WMA codec to the same location as Music Converter.

Ah, I see now. I'm using r11.5. Thanks!

In that case, you need to use the codecs from Legacy Codec Central, not the main Codec Central.
