Do you know what are .mmf and .amr formats? Is there any conversion codec?

      Hi Guys,

I have just tried sending multimedia from my mobile and whilst text and pictures work ok the attached sound to the e-mail comes in an .amr extension.

At present I have no way of opening this to listen. Does anyone have any ideas. I have done a search on the web but found very little.

As far as I can research, the following meanings are given to these file extensions:
        .mmf - microsoft mail file
.amr - speech encoding codec used in GSM telephony
I hope this is of some help

        Regards, Petri
