Converter Can't See Windows Lossless Files

I downloaded the trial version, pointed it at a folder with WM lossless files, approximately 71GB worth and it returns an error, "no files found" or something like that. If i point it to another folder with WM files encoded at 128-192kbps it sees them just fine. Can i convert WM Lossless using this application?

WMA Lossless should have a .wma extension, just like .wma normal files, I am thinking they are not wma lossless.

Did you install the WMA codec into dMC?

how do you install the WM codec into the converter? It sees the other less than 192 kpbs files just fine, so it makes me think that it is not a case of not have the WM codec. I've seperated the two batches of Windows Media Files into folders, 1 that is for songs less than 192kbps and one that is above 192kbps (which is the Windows Lossless with most files between 700 and 1.5kbps. There are clearly files in the folder but dbpoweramp is not seeing them. In fact i booted up the Windows Media player and added them to the library and it played fine off the external drive. Any thoughts?

Can you confirm that both sets of files have the wma suffix? Are both folders on the same (external) drive?

Yes, they are most definitely .wma files, E:\wmafiles\06_Shadowman_Afro Celt Sound System_Volume 3- Further in Time_1012kbps.wma

Do you have the same problem if they are on an internal hard drive?

i don't have 71gb free on my internal harddrive. it sees the files fine for those less than 192kbps on the external.

If you copy (a couple of) these files to your internal hard drive do you have the same problem?
