DISCTOTAL and TRACKTOTAL tags for Apple Lossless output files

I am having difficulty transcoding my FLAC files to Apple Lossless while preserving the TRACKTOTAL and DISCTOTAL tags. In foobar2000, I can remap the fields basically any way I like (TOTALTRACKS to TRACKTOTAL, TOTALDISCS to DISCTOTAL, etc.), but invariably these important tags are missing from the Apple Lossless output files. I've even used the ID Tag Update utility codec to try remapping these fields, but nothing seems to work.

I usually transcode files from FLAC to Apple Lossless on a Mac with Max, and in that program the field mapping actually works so the Apple Lossless files keep all the tags when used in iTunes. However, I'm now trying to keep all of my music in the control of my PC to do away with the hassle of moving around an external drive and transferring files over my LAN, so hopefully this can work out somehow.

Is there any solution to this using either foobar2000 or some utility codec for dBpoweramp?

    Thanks for any help.

    dBpoweramp recognises tags (internally) as:

    disc 1/2
    track 2/3
