    Multi-CPU not working

I have a registered version of Reference 12.3 installed. My PC has an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU. The device manager shows two processors "Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU E4500 @2.20GHz".

When using dbpoweramp CD Ripper only one CPU is being utilized.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

Yes it does. I haven't though of trying it yet.....but could it have anything to do with the 'Professional Frequency Conversion' setting?

                No,

Try using the ogg vorbis encoder out of interest.

No change. Only one CPU used.

                    Re: Multi-CPU not working

I would recommend a full uninstall, reboot of computer and install the latest version from registration retrieval.

In CD Ripper are you able to change profiles? then CD ripper is running as Reference.

If your computer is fast enough an the cd drive is the slowest point then there is no need to use multi cpus, one one track is ripped it has already encoded and the next track is ripped.

Multi-CPU should also work else where, take 2 wave files and right click >> Convert to >> mp3 (lame) you should see 3 % bars and 2 cpu sections on the converting stage.

Complete uninstall / reinstall has done the trick! Thanks for the help.
