Conflicting CRC's on the LAST track in dBpoweramp 12.1

Hello, I got a very important problem when I rip, for some reason I get conflicting crc's on the LAST track on most cds I rip, not all cds but most of them. Cause of security reasons I decided to use 2 Cdrom's when ripping to guarantee matched crc's. So I have understood, there must be some kind of reasons why I only have this problem on the last track! So have anyone any idea of what the problem might be, do I have some of my settings wrong ? I must solve this somehow it would be much appreciated if someone could help me.

Some info of the cdroms and settings I use.

I use Ultra secure mode for both drives.

Plextor 708a, read into Lead-in or lead-out is enabled. Sample offset +30. I have disabled the cache with the FUA command, C2 pointers is enabled.

Plextor 203a (Rebaged 2006 version). This is the drive that has been said to be the best DAE ripper by Spoon (creator of dBpoweramp) and others. Read into Lead-in or lead-out is disabled. The sample offset is set to +738, and this new 203a version does not cache, and C2 pointers is enabled.

203a or 230a? The 708a has overread in both lead in and lead out. The 230a does not have overread. At least, not according to http://www.daefeatures.co.uk/

So, when you rip on the 703a, you're probably reading more data since read into lead out is enabled, hence the differing CRCs. I suspect...though I always get confused on the results of the +/- offset settings...but I suspect if you disable lead out reading on the 708a, they'll match.

Yes sorry, I did of course mean 230a. Yes I suspect that it has something to do with the lead in/lead-out. 708a does read lead in/lead out while 230 don't. am quite sure spoon himself told me that this would not matter, cause the overread information was just some meta-data and not really calculated into the final CRC (if I understood him correctely). I really hope there is a solution to this though, otherwise I have bought this 2nd cdrom drive unnecessarily.

AccurateRip does not use the last few sectors on the CD, so all drives will give the same result. A 230a and 708 would give different CRCs (calculated on all data) if there was not silence right to the end of the cd, as the 230a cannot overread.

Hello spoon, thanks for your response. Yes then I wonder, is there any way to make dBpoweramp to ignore the ovearread data, so that the crc's are in phase with each other ? or to disable the overread function on the drive, is this possible ?

Even ignoring the overread data, the main audio data would be different for rives with different offsets.
