plextor 810sa c2 detection

Hey spoon,

gaillard here, (from a while back) got a question for you if you don't mind. Been using your ripper for a while now, wonderful software routine, but since now I am in vista x64 / linux my 708a won't work and I was wondering if you knew of the best c2 performing drive that is 64 bit compatible?

I see the new plextor is the 810, do you know how it chalks up to the mighty 708a?

Why does the 708a not work in vista? have you tried an external enclosure? usb or firewire (more likely to support c2).
