Hi,
I have over 400GB of FLAC files that I want to convert to WAV files. The WAV files need to have tags (including Cover Art) copied over from the FLAC files. Therefore dBpowerAMP Batch Converter was recommended to me.
As I have a large number of music files to manage, I use Tag & Rename exstensively to edit tags.
So I've tried dBpowerAMP Batch Converter to convert a few test folders of FLAC files to WAV files - so far so good. But none of the ID tags created by dBpowerAMP will display in Tag & Rename.
The dBpowerAMP right click "Edit ID-Tag" shows that the WAV files have tags.
Does dBpowerAMP not generate standard ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags? (I've looked under Codec Advanced Configuration and the Wave ID Tagging gives Tag Creation as (default) rather than ID3v1 or ID3v2 for mp3 Tag Creation.)
What do I need to change to get WAV files with tags that Tag & Rename can read (it's compatable with ID3v1, ID3v2, Wma, Ogg/Flac, Mp4/M4A and APEv2 tags - but ID3v1 or ID3v2 is my preference)?
