    MPEG2 to wav conversion problem

    Hi,

Perhaps I am trying to do something that isn't possible with dbPowerAMP, but I am trying to convert some recorded TV shows (music) and convert them to wave files (sound only). The recordings are all mpeg2 files (extension *.mpg). The conversion process works but the resulting file has lots of clicks and other odd extra noises in addition to the original sound. I also tried conversion to mp3 with the same results. What am I doing wrong or can't dbPowerAmp handle this type of conversion (suggestion what else to use are welcome).

I am guessing the video stream is being decoded also as audio.

Sounds interesting, but what can I do about it?

You would need a program to seperate the video and mp2 stream.
