Hi, ya'll -
I recently bought a Rio Volt and have been evaluating software to rip direct to WMA with tag info.
dBpowerAmp came up & running within minutes. None of the others that claim to support WMA have worked yet! Got *my* registration for the PowerPack right away! <G>
Search came up null so have 2 questions.
1> is there a way to use a local copy of the FreeDB database files instead of CDPLAYER.INI or going on line?
I keep all on line activity limited to a seperate removable HD <one of many> for security. Right now, I have to read CDs into CDPLAYER.INI with one of your "competitor's" packages which checks my local freeDB files for tag info, then go back to dBpowerAmp to rip the tracks. PITA hack, that!
2> is there a way to unselect all tracks rather than clicking each one? Would make it easier if one is not ripping the entire CD.
Thanks for an easy to use, well done package!
