How do I preserve Asian characters in ID3 tags?

    Hello.

When I am ripping some of my Japanese Cds and encoding them I notice that dBpowerAMP is recognizing the Asian characters initially, but when I load up my resulting encodes into iTunes I am having a problem. Instead of displaying the characters properly, it displays "???" where the Asian characters should be. When I hover over the individual song files, I see the same thing. So, the program is recognizing them, but for some reason it is not encoding them properly as ID3 tags in the final result.

Any idea what I can do to change this?

    Thanks.

dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced and set the ID3v2 option to Unicode.

Also, make sure you are using dMC r12.
